Supply Bulk Foods: Part Time Business Assistant

Are you looking to help build something?

We are looking for a part-time Business Assistant to join our team as we continue to grow.

Description: Business Assistant will assist the founder with office tasks including:

• Researching products and suppliers

• Financial sheets

• Social media management

• Business documentation including assisting in applying for grants

• Reviewing resumes and interviewing kitchen staff as needed

• Representing the company via email and phone 

• part-time, 15-20 hours per week

• hybrid: remote work on an agreed upon schedule plus some kitchen time to learn kitchen processes

• Helping with company growth

Qualifications:

• A passion for the environment, with a knowledge of and/or interest in plastic waste issues, green initiatives, sustainable food systems, and food justice.

• Detail oriented, organized, and able to work independently & free during some daytime hours 

• Demonstrated ability to manage time and tasks in a remote setting with blocked out time for this work

• Problem solving & able to think outside of the box a plus

• Experience with Xero, Canva, Google Workspace and Shopify a plus

• Good communication skills, willing and able to ask questions

• Tech savvy

• Works well with and is considerate to others, honesty

Compensation:

Hourly pay commensurate with experience - $24-$26ph, plus an employee discount
