Supply Bulk Foods is Hiring: Part‑Time Packaging Assistants

Mon and/or Tues, 4pm–8:30pm

We’re a plastic‑free, biodegradable/compostable‑packaging bulk food store. Every order we send out helps someone live with less waste — and we’re looking for a few thoughtful, reliable people to help us keep up with demand.

This position reports to the person in charge at the kitchen on the day of work. An ideal kitchen assistant helps fill orders during busy fill sessions.  

This role is simple, steady, and surprisingly satisfying. You’ll:

• Fill biodegradable packaging with bulk foods

• Label and prepare orders for pickup

• Keep the workspace clean, organized, and calm

• Support a mission that actually matters

It’s hands‑on, detail‑oriented work — perfect for someone who likes a quiet, purposeful environment and takes pride in doing things carefully.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented

• Punctual and Reliable

• Good at communicating

• Not afraid to ask questions

• An interest in the environment is helpful

• It would be helpful to be able to lift up to 50lbs, but this is not mandatory.

• Local to Dorchester is preferable but not mandatory
