Cashews are removed from the shell and carefully inspected for quality, then split into parts, reserving the top end of the nut for cashew pieces. Equally as delicious as any other part of the nut, try cashew pieces as a snack or use in recipes from appetizers to desserts. I have used them to make cashew, salted caramel ice cream. Yum!
