Originating in the Piedmont region of Italy, lumache pasta is named for its “snail” shape. These are ridged, bent tubes with a seashell-like appearance and one pinched end. Perfect for trapping thin broths. Pronounced "loo-mah-kay".

Every small batch of pasta is extruded through custom made bronze dies on Italian-made machines. It’s then air dried for 24 hours to create the rustic taste and texture of
a true Italian classic.
Made in Italy.
Directions: Bring 4-5 quarts of cold water to a boil. Add salt if desired. Cook Pasta for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Taste until preferred level of al dente texture is reached. Drain pasta.
