Jasmine is an aromatic long grain rice originally grown only in Thailand. While cooking, this exotic rice fills your kitchen with a delicate scent. The grains cook up moist and tender with a soft texture and delicious flavor. Jasmine rice is very versatile - use it as a side dish or in pilafs and desserts. Certified organic and kosher. Rinse rice in cool water until it runs clear. Using a 2:1 water to rice ratio, bring the water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Add the rice and a pinch of salt, cover the pan, and reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes or until the water is absorbed. Test the rice and if it’s not fully tender, add a bit more water and cook until absorbed. Let sit, covered, for a couple minutes off the heat and then fluff with a fork and serve.
