Learn More About the Product

Black mission figs have a deep purple skin that appears black when dried, and a slight pinkish hue on the inside. The name “mission figs” comes from the Franciscan missionaries who planted them throughout California in the late 18th century. Certified organic, gluten free, fair trade. From California.

Mission figs are an excellent source of fiber, potassium, and other minerals.

These are delicious with other dried fruits, nuts, and cheese for an enticing appetizer platter. Try chopping a few figs and tossing them over salads and pastas. They’ll add a great flavor and texture to any dish and are especially tasty in baked treats such as breads, muffins, and scones.
